Hey Pharaoh, I was thinking about promoting you to admin here on the Wiki. You've been tearing it up lately with updates, which is super awesome. With Admin status, you'll be able to delete pages (great for dealing with spam), you might be able to block spammers (not sure if that's an "admin" function or a "bureaucrat" function though), and then you'd also be able to edit protected pages. So you'd be able to work on the threeA Catalog. So let me know if you're interested, and I can set you up. Thanks! TiredChildren 10:24, 17 February 2011 (EST)

I'm good with that. Spammer smackdown and threeA Catalog updates are really the only two things i've not been able to do as a normal user. Well, and figuring out how to deal with ampersands in page titles - but that may be a software limitation, and it needs testing on my local wiki instance. --Pharaoh 13:45, 17 February 2011 (EST)
Cool, then admin you shall become! Thanks for everything you've been doing for the wiki! TiredChildren 14:27, 17 February 2011 (EST)
Welcome to the administrator side of the 3A Wiki Project, Pharaoh. I've gotta' ask, what's your previous Wiki experience? It seems like you know the way around the software more than I do, so I'm intrigued. Again, can't thank you enough for your contributions! I love the idea of adding our own 3A Collection to our Userpage as well, great idea there. Ennui 23:11, 18 February 2011 (EST)
No previous wiki experience that i can remember actually, other than as a consumer of content from the likes of wikipedia, etc. A combination of being a unix sysadmin (which usually means working with lots of different types of server software), programming experience (mostly perl, shell) and of course HTML over the years probably helped. Updating the wiki was as much about teaching myself about the 3A community as helping out, and allows me to merge multiple hobbies (a bit of the technical aspect along with toys). Anyways, glad i could be helpful! --Pharaoh 00:33, 19 February 2011 (EST)
