The names in this line look like jokes and work like part numbers. A sculpt gets a base name, a larger version of the same design gets that name with a word bolted onto the front, and the paint scheme goes ahead of the whole thing — so a single string tells a reader the scale, the sculpt family and the finish without a catalogue. Once the pattern is seen, an unfamiliar title is readable at sight.

The habit came out of the fiction rather than out of marketing. The robots are described in-universe as crude, hurried machines given nicknames by the people who had to work with them, and the product names keep that register. It is also a practical decision: a range built on shared moulds needs names that distinguish size and scheme, and a nickname does that better than a code, which is why collectors quote them exactly.
